Faced with such an overwhelming choice these days it’s sometimes hard to make sense of the domestic appliance market. There are so many different brands offering so many different features, many of which you know you will
never use, and then there are warranties, guarantees, reliability and so much else to consider. This site aims to try and cut through all the confusion and to help you sort out which appliances will be best for your own circumstances.
Whilst we might all aspire to owning a huge American style fridge freezer with drink and ice dispensers, when you’re living in a bedsit it’s a little difficult to justify affording one of them, never mind fitting it in the place!
We’ll review new models as they are released onto the market and look at some of the best places you can go online to get these items.
So welcome to our website and the world of Domestic Appliances!
We recently decided to buy a built in wine cooler and after searching through many models we decided to buy the Caple Wi6125 and we haven’t been disappointed since. This remarkable kitchen appliance is stylish with a toughened, UV protected clear glass front and stainless steel door frame while it’s many wonderful features ensure your wine will be stored correctly. This undercounter wine cooler was easy to install and has been simple to operate ever since.
We love to entertain and the Wi6125 wine cooler has been a real talking point in our kitchen, not only for it’s design but also for its capaciy to store a massive 46 bottles of wine. The dual zone capability has meant we can cater for all wine lovers as the upper zone can store 16 white bottles and the bottom zone can store 30 red bottles, and with the clever Caple technology, each zone is independently controlled to ensure your wine is kept at the correct temperature and humidity. The no frost cooling technology helps to maintain a consistent temperature and the LED display clearly displays the temperature so you easily change either zone depending on the type of wine. Caple have fitted the Wi6125 undercounter wine cooler with anti-vibration gaskets and low vibration compressors so not to disturb the sediments and also making for a quiet domestic appliance. We’ve also been impressed with the beech shelves which have offered a fantastic usability and allowed for bottles to be easily removed. We got our Caple Wi6125 Built In Wine Cooler with free delivery for only £549.
Well what can we say about this wonderful built in oven? It’s certainly stylish, it’s packed brim full with fabulous features, but what caught our eye the most about this particular model is that it has an ‘A’ energy rating, using just 0.87/kwh, which makes it one of the most efficient on the market and is certainly much improved on many of the earlier ovens.
This relatively frugal energy usage is combined with 12 different functions for the electric fan oven, and with a built in electric grill as well it is functional as well as stylish. There is a distinctly modern feel afforded by the touch control dials situated on the front of the oven, and as this is a built in model the front of black and stainless steel, with a triple glazed oven door makes it an attractive proposition for any new kitchen.
With a manufacturers five year warranty and free delivery we found this Gorenje BOP8858AX Built in single oven available online for £650 (November 2011), and if ordered today it can be in your home within 48 hours.
Our homes are crammed full of them and we can’t get enough of the latest designs but how much do you really know about them? This site will delve into the world of appliances and bring you all the latest on what’s new, cool and different.
